Juvenile Justice Diversion

The program seeks to disrupt and end 5th Ward’s school-to-prison pipeline, and build a culture of compassion.

We work with 5th Ward youth accused of having committed actions considered crimes, at school. Youth are referred to us by schools and the Harris County District Attorney. Program components include case management (connecting students with services including for basic needs and emotional health), restorative circles (compassion-based mediation), mentorship, and community involvement. Participants who complete the program will not be charged for the incident that they were referred for, and any related record will be sealed.

Want to refer your child or student for case management support? Contact us.
